Hi, I'm Kerri a momma-photographer to three special little ones, Tyler, Lucas and Kate; a wife to Les; a daughter and a friend.
We live "in the county" just outside of the "big city" and I love all of the quiet convenience this gives us. Sitting in my office I see the rustling of trees, blue skies and much wildlife but a short 5-minute drive has me within range of nearly any shopping I could need. While I may occasionally wish for an "adult friend" to vent to, I love the closeness that this home has brought to our family. With both my husband and I working from home, we spend a LOT more time than normal couples together. I won't lie and say that it's all smiles all the time, but I do think that our family relationships are extremely strong. My kids are each other's best friends, as our my husband and I.
I love the Lord and credit him for this amazing life we live. I love to use my talents to document all of his creations (our kiddos) and our amazing experiences, so that I can capture these often fleeting memories for my family.
I also love to meet knew people and to document other people's lives, which led me to my desire to become a photographer. I truly believe that a photograph is the best way to preserve those memories we wish to hold onto forever. I love my time with my clients and am happy to say that many times, I later call them "friends", as well.
A few more factoids about me, just so you can get to know me a little better. I grew up in West Virginia and graduated from WVU with a degree in Public Relations/Marketing (which actually comes in very handy with this little business I'm building). About 2 years ago I was bitten by the running bug and now routinely run 20-25 miles/week, with that climbing to 30+ in the heat of marathon training. These runs often take place at o'dark:30 with my running partner, so that we can fit them in, in the midst of our otherwise crazy busy days! I love to read, but have to be careful with the books I choose, as I could easily be swept into another realm and read for hours until I finish the book. I am an ADD/OCD momma...so while I like to think
that I am organized, often my organizing efforts go off track as I think of all of the other stuff I have to do and flit from task to task. HA!
I would love it if you would take a look around my site and get a feel for me and my photography style. If what you see appeals to you, I would love for you to contact me
to book a session!!
